Acts of Kindness

The purpose of the Acts of Kindness Student Emergency Relief Fund (“Fund”) is to provide appropriate relief to eligible students of The University of Alabama who experience a qualifying event or emergency.

Advocacy and Absence Notification

For students who miss class due to unforeseen circumstances such as hospitalization, illness, bereavement, etc.

Emergency Assistance

For students in times of need, potential assistance may be in the form of gift cards, Student 2 Student meal allotments, referrals, and other kinds of financial assistance.

Emergency Loans

The Student Government Association (SGA) offers thirty day interest-free emergency loans for up to $500 to full-time students.

Got Meals and UA Food Pantry

The Got Meals meal donation program and Food Pantry are available for students who may be experiencing food insecurity.

On-Call Deans

On-Call Deans are provided by the Dean of Students office to assist students that have been transported to the hospital.
